The weekend’s final box office numbers are out, and The Game Plan scored a few more points on Sunday than originally reported. The Rock’s family comedy wound up the weekend with $23 million (well, $22,950,971), a quarter of a mil better than its early estimate. That broadened the gap between the No. 1 film and the No. 2 finisher, The Kingdom, which scored a weak $17.1 mil (down from its initial call of $17.7 mil). Meanwhile, with a $1.2 mil take, the weekend’s 15th-place release, Transformers, moved into the top 20 of all-time domestic releases — its $315.2 mil total trumps The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring‘s $314.8 mil. Take that, Frodo!
