Hollywood's riled up over Morning Glory

The hottest script in Hollywood right now is Morning Glory, written by Aline Brosh McKenna, the writer behind The Devil Wears Prada. Producer J.J. Abrams plans to make the film at Paramount, but he’s causing a feeding frenzy by keeping the screenplay under lock and key. According to several sources, it has been printed on Mylar-like paper that can’t be photocopied. And it’s only been made available to agents who represent A-list talent. According to two sources, one very prominent producer was so furious he couldn’t get his hands on the script that he threatened to fire his assistants.

The latest word (unconfirmed) is that director Roger Michell (Notting Hill, Venus) is in talks to direct. His heist project The Rip recently bit the dust at Universal.
