Word is trickling in that Hollywood writers are expected to hit the picket lines Monday morning, time to be decided. Meanwhile, the Writers Guild of America had a meeting scheduled at 1:30 p.m. PT to announce the results of their strike recommendation to the membership. It’s believed that WGA West President Patric M. Verrone, WGA East President Michael Winship, and WGA Negotiating Committee Chair John F. Bowman will announce when the strike against film studios and television networks that make up the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers will begin. Stay tuned….
