Korean star Rain (a.k.a. Jung Ji-hoon) will headline the Wachowski Brothers’ next film Ninja Assassin, which is set to shoot in Berlin starting in mid-April. The film’s plot details remain sketchy, but according to Screen International, which first reported on the Korean press conference where Rain broke the news, James McTeigue (V for Vendetta) will direct the film, with the Wachowskis and Joel Silver producing (the distribution of responsibilities was the same on V for Vendetta). Rain most recently worked in Berlin with the Wachowskis on their G-rated flick Speed Racer, which is set to bow this summer. Warner Bros. will distribute Ninja Assassin.
