Tom Selleck has refused to be associated with the production for fear it is going to be another big budget $100 Million of special effects parody of what was an awesome show and he wants no part of it.
They asked Tom Selleck if he wanted to be involved and he said no. I wish they leave TV shows alone,especially a show like Magnum. Every remake has been a disaster.I like Matt, but he’s not right for Magnum.I don’t think anybody is.
Tom has stated that he would like to do the movie if the script were correct. It would be the only logical choice to cast Selleck in this role. If it is anyone else, I won’t bother to go see it.
McConaughey as Magnum? Oh, please…no way! Tom IS Magnum…and no one else! If there has to be a new Magnum P.I. show, then make it right! Find the real actor, not a..kid. Please. Maybe Mick Cole could do it.
Yeah. Mick Cole is charming and pretty good looking…he could do it, I’m sure…
