Chris Carter, if you ever read this site I’d like for you to know how deeply the X-Files is still loved by so many of us, and how much we would like to see one more film, if it could be arranged financially. I know I Want to Believe had to go up against The Dark Knight (which I thought was way, way over the top with little to recommend it other than Heath Ledger’s performance), but I loved your spare, bleak, soulfull movie and I know of lot of others did too.
Chris if you read this! Please make the third movie, for the Trilogy!! I am a forever, always until i die fan of the X- files , I have the whole series, and i have to watch them several times a year, so be sure that all x files fans will support you and David, and Gillian. So be bold and make all of us happy please please
the x files i want to believe was alright and the thing was that the x files 2 didnt get such good ratings is because it needed to have the same plot has the last episode and the third x files movie should be about 2012 and the alien invasion and another thing.

I think tht chris carter should have made a few more series of x-files because ive watched all of the episodes and they are all awesome, especially as some people have said about the clyde bruckman episode, tht is a really good episode and there are lots more episodes tht could b thought up as in new plot twists and stuff like that, i also love x-files’s E.B.E and the erlenmeyer flask which are both in series 1. Series 5 has some classic episodes like kitsunigari which is a follow on from the episode pusher which is in series 3. X-files is great, bring out another movie!!!!

A third installment must be far better than the 2nd movie. The 2nd one was a below par tv show. Nothing new or interesting about it. Chris Carter needs to go all out and do a “Batman Returns” level of X-Files. Really good, really satisfying to the fan base and those who’ve never been part of it. Have Mulder and Skully taken to an alien base on the dark side of the moon. Show more of the human conspirators hoping to profit from the new alien controlled Earth. Make it powerful without a dull moment. End this franchise with a “wow” conclusion. If you can’t do that, stop now.
We (Philes and friends of the show) definitely want a third movie!
And by any means, Carter should set this up along with the folks he always had whilst the show was still on air and without any influence (no matter if by Philes or wanna-be movie critics. Also regardless of how people think of XF2).
Also, FOX should better know it has to give something back of what it owes the show due to what it has brought them for all these years! (and of course am talking ’bout profit and I bet a third movie will be -combined with far better promotion than with the last one and a suitable release date- a hit and worth the money invested!)

I really want 3rd X FILES! I watched 2nd it was good too,but i hope to see more MULDER&SCULLY. I think at the 2nd movie Scully and Mulder were seperated
I lost faith with Lost, and I don’t like Fringe either. X-files was one of the better shows on TV back in the 90′s.
