Angel: I guess you will see him there *winks*
Rev.St.Huck: Thank God, opinions like yours are in the minority.
I loved, love and will love the x-files and I’m definitely going to see that movie.
I felt even the seasons after Duchovny left as Mulder were really good. Was it my imagination or did Gillian Anderson’s acting step it up several notches as her drive to find Mulder, and later to protect her baby drove her character?
My dream would be a three part move sequence would take place for the x-files, all dealing with the alien invasion, as 2012 approaches. The first of the three being 2010, 2011, and then 2012. This way they could capitalize on their extensive plot line.
2012 is a long wait. 2010 would be a better time, although it’s still a long wait for fans…
I would like to think that living in the age of “shadow governments”, the American public needs to be reminded about what “truths” are still out there. Carter and Spotnitz are hands-down, the most brilliant men out there in the industry. I couldn’t imagine a more archaic cast advocating free verse and expression of ideas.
I hope that this movie will turn out like the “Tooms” episodes and the “Pusher” episodes rather than something like “The Great Mutato”. Although I really loved the plot episodes, the monster-of-the-week episodes were sometimes even better. Ideally, I would love for them to make even more than three movies. It would be smart of them to leave us hanging in the third one so everyone would come back for future movies. Oh, try to figure out what my alias means, shouldn’t be too hard.
I am so psyched…especially because I just finished watching all 9 seasons on DVD. I too loved the stand alone episodes…the scarier the better. However I would like to see a third movie that hopefully explains some unanswered questions…before 2012.
Here’s an idea: This movie will probably do pretty well at the theatres, but to make sure it makes enough money for the studio to let them do a third, all you x-philes out there should go to it like two or three times.
any one who thinks carter is a moron just remeber after season 6 he wasnt main screen writer or director soooo ya go read ur facts then bs to me x-files nvr lost its focus either it just stop going of topic that made it greet went all ufos or super soldgers w/e and then they lost mulder and he him self coulda held up the show but no he left so dont blame this stuff on carter and also imma go see the 1st screening at mid night and if all goes well other movie or more seasons i would like either or both please!!!!! gl to the xf2 gl gl gl gl gl gl
also if u do like the movie do go more than once if u want a repeat i saw the preview so idk if it will apear to be a movie to go to if u arnt a fan for lyfe =( but i liked it xD
i bought the x-files revelations that is a preview to the movie and has 8 episodes called Pilot(one of my favs) beyond the sea(so so) the host(dont remeber so musta been a ug one) clyde bruckmans final repose(best episode ever won academy award very very good) memento mori(good episode) post-modern phometheus(tru x-files stles not story plot but was good) bad blood(so very funny one of my favs) milagro(got so bored in the 1st 20 mins went to next episode so imma have to suffer)
One Last Thing OMG MULDER GOT SO OLD AND SKULLY GOT SO HOT haha wierd how things change huh? and i also think that when the smoking man went it killed the plot of the x-files and things got messed up bad move but guess wrong and it kills ur series other than that x-files rocked 1-6 seasons were worth buying other 3 eh not so much but screw it were x-files nuts right gogogogogogogogogo xD
Good god, why does it appear half of us X-Files fans don’t even know how to spell, punctuate, or otherwise write? It’s pathetic.
Called 2008…….. duh?
I want them to make a 3rd movie SO BAD. They should have waited a bit longer to release considering Dark Knight and the fact that it was Heath Ledger’s last movie. If the Dark Knight weren’t out I am sure X-Files would be doing better. Please don’t give up! Make another one! I want to see the alien invasion!!
I hope they make a third movie!
2012 is the end!
