His facial hair isn’t right in the movie. haha such a minor detail but I liked the prince’s facial hair in the game much much more. it had a cool thing going on. PATHETIC casting. The prince in the game looked practically emo. no offence, jake just looks happy go lucky even if he has a bad look going on. He makes his sword look like an over-sized twinkie. That is all i’m going to allow myself to say about this.
BTW! FOR EVERYONE SAYING THAT HE NEEDS TO BE DARK AND EXOTIC IS WRONG. The game tells all. play it. the prince actually looks like he has never seen the sun. HE’S PALE.

I agree that Jake Gyllenhaal, shouldn’t play the main role because he doesn’t seem like the best fit for the role.He is a good actor, but it’s gonna be annoying to see him play the Prince, seems so out of place. Im sure there’s some other actor that could fit this role better. Not this guy.
I live in Shiraz and Jake doesn’t look like the majority of Iranians. He’s got white skin and blue eyes which are rare in Iran.

all i can say is that they should have hired billy zane. he looks persian. or just hire real persians. it’s like how they hired an irishman to play alexander. wtf? at least alexander was european (being southern european). 300 was also full of non-greeks or greek looking people, but hey, at least greeks are european, and they were considerably lighter before the turks messed them up. but prince of persia? played by a northern euro? give me a break. i can think of one very popular persian actor… Nathan from Heroes is persian, at least choose him….
okay so it could have been more authentic, but I think the actors did a great job and this movie is FICTION meaning who cares as long as it’s a good movie; not everything has to be about race you know… Getting the bond girl raised the probability of people seeing it and as far as ethnicity; this movie is made for Americans which means any race, any color, any language… I everyone is too politically correct… you could argue that placing actors that look like they are from Persia is racist too… it’s all BS don’t like it don’t watch it… but everyone will agree the bond girl is Hott!! You all are racist for caring about her race.. duhhh
