Ingoditrust….um, that’s the whole point of Watchmen. You obviously haven’t read it or I should say you haven’t read it and understood it. It’s pointing out how flawed we are as humans. Even a God fearing human, or God loving human for that matter is flawed. Also, read a thing or two about what a satanist is. Those who claim to be satanists who “worship the devil” don’t know anything about satanism. It’s more about worshiping yourself than satan. Not that I condone it. Alan Moore does follow what you might call a pagan god, but that does NOT make him satanic. As far as the characters “playing our lord” once again that’s the whole point. It’s to show us the things we’ve forgotten as humans in our messed up world.
I will burn a FOX logo in effigy on the streets. I SWEAR TO GOD. I’m boycotting Wolverine. It can’t possibly be as good as Watchmen anyway.

In other news, Fox is claiming that they altogether do NOT want it to be released at all. That would be the absolute most cruel joke in the world, huh? How hilarious would it be if enough of us [the fans that DO wish to see this come to light] sued FOX for causing momentary depression, anxiety, and emotional distress? Seriously though, FOX is pretty known to royally F*CK something up. First it was Buffy, then Firefly, and their tiff with Family Guy. I mean, seriously? When I picture the person leading all of this Fox sh*t, I see an 8 year old child in a business suit saying ‘but, IIIII wanna make the movie!!!’ ‘I’m sorry, dear, you lost your chance.’ ‘Well if you don’t give me what I want, I’m going to make EVERYONE pay!!! Wahhhhhh! Wahhhhh! Wahhhhhh!’.
Hurm.
On the morning of 9-11, all I could think of was, ” It’s Chapter 12 of ‘Watchmen’”.
FOX does not want this movie shown.
Especially after the Batman movie, so critical of Bush Administration policies, was so successful.

Fox has had only one 100 million dollar hit this entire year, and they have had at least 4 summer flops. This is partially because of adding religious undertones to most of their films. The studio controls the creative aspect of their films way to much and results in crappy movies. This lawsuit is an act of desperation.
Jeremiah Zero, you’re funny. This is going to be the perfect movie version of this film. Have you kept up on it? It’s shaping up to be scarily faithful.

Haha, what a bunch of conspiracy theorist bullcrap. There was nothing about TDK that was anti-Bush, and Fox isn’t trying to block this movie because of their right wing owner. They just want the money.
And 9/11 was NOTHING like chapter 12 of Watchmen. What an idiotic and insenstive thing to say. Sometimes people’s lack of rationalism really surprises me.

I thought there was no way this film could be done, now that it looks like Snyder was gonna pull it of Fox steps in? If they don’t want bad feelings directed at them then the need to work ou a deal to get a cut and not block the moive. Now if this is all a ploy to build more buzz fine, but Fox has made some boneheaded moves in the past. If they block this film that is the last buck they will get from me. Which is a shame I was looking foward to Wolverine.
