What the heck. Sex in the City is what it is. Us fans of the show and the movie know that. What is up with all the racial politics. I don’t think the intent was to omit african americans. It is just PERFECT the way it is. I am so sick of these jabs at a great hit just because it didn’t include anyone but caucasins. There are all african american shows/movies, asian shows/movies, hispanic shows/movies, & many many inter rational shows. Again, WHAT THE HECK?. Leave a great thing alone and get over yourselves. Excuse my spelling. My spelling does not make my point any less valid. Any one can do whatever they want in this country. Make more african american only movies but what’s up with the attack on a good thing. Innocence should be taken into account here. The writer being able to relate to a certain situation. Again get over yourselves, those that are complaining about a lack of different races. It is pathetic and over heard. You’re digging a hole for yourself. How old are you?
Will everyone relax! Negativity makes the world go round. I am a black woman and i happen to love this show, I think the cast was chosen perfectly. These characters are what drew my attention in the first place. And they didn’t have to cast Jen. Hudson in the movie, but they did. Give credit where it’s due. This was an amazing show! I loved it so much, i went to the theater with my mother and aunt! And believe me, this is a show that I never would imagine I would watch with my mom! I am so ready for a sequal!
i am one of sex and the city’s biggest fans ever. ive followed the awesome 4some aka” carrie, samantha, charlotte, and miranda from the the time it start as a series on hbo. i think that it would be great if u guys came out with a sequel because the movie was so unexceptingly good not becuae the show was bad, but because alot of times when they make movies out of series or vise versa, most of the time its bullshit. alot of the times, i image my life just like theres, i love that show and cant wait for the sequel!
I could have stayed in that theater all night watching the Sex and the City movie. I was sad to see it end and never once got tired, as I do for most movies. I’m excited about a sequel coming out.
They should just leave it at that. Let’s have great memories of SATC without messing it up with another sequel. Let it go…
This is ridiculous. I am a HUGE SATC fan, I counted down until the release of the movie and I cried when the sequel ended. These women’s lives mirrrored so much of the things I was going through in my life, a little bit of me in each character. This isnt about black or white, in fact to those of us who loved the show ading black women to please4 an audience who never even watched the show would be destroying what is already perfect. I find it funny that black ppl talk about how they want racism to end and yet you are the ones turning every subject into a pissing contest between black and white ppl. If you wanted racism to end you would stop be racist. This is about a movie, not an attack on black ppl you are so self centered to think that the writers are putting you down on purpose by not having black characters in the script as if he sat down to wirte and said hey I am a racist ass I think I will write a script with only white chicks and see how many black women get offended. GET OVER YOURSELVES. And I for one CANT WAIT until this movie comes out, to the actors writes producers and everyone involved I Think you are doing a fabulous job and please please keep up the good work!
