I agree with a lot of you who say the special effects and writing were pretty bad. They left out way too much of the mysteriousness of Edward, I mean he hardly held back at all telling Bella everything about himself. Also, at the end when Carlisle kept telling Edward to stop drinking Bella’s blood, I laughed. That was supposed to be a serious suspenseful moment and instead it was funny =\. Other than that, I loved the movie and I can’t wait till it comes out on DVD. I didn’t expect it to be perfect, and it wasn’t, but I loved seeing the characters on screen instead of just in my imagination
.
I think you should do the next movie by the book literally. Have it as the book is, people loved the book so you need to keep to it. If you change too much then I will make it harder and possibly screw up the movie and the others to come.
LOL love the first movie can’t wait for the next!
cool,I guess but get over it it was a stupid retarded dumb gay movie with no point it was a waste of film and the acters/actresses aren’t that cute I’ve seen million of people hoter then them SO GET OVER IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m someone who has never heard of Twilight…that is until I watched the movie!!!!!
Let me sum it up in two words: Freakin AWESOME!
I’m an eighteen year old dude…and even I thought the movie was pretty good! hahaa
For all you haters out there…maybe if you saw it twice you could actually see past your biases and realize how well the actors/actresses played the characters! FOCUS!
Personally I thought the movie was a comedy! hahahahhahahahaha
As my friends cried/sobbed to the left and right…I was laughing hysterically (I think popcorn was spewing out of my mouth!)
Even though the movie lacked in many emotional areas, I got my fair share of giggles! What more can you ask for?
Yes..the movie was BY FAR not the best movie of the year, or month, or decade even. Fine let’s make it century…
but…it doesn’t mean I can’t watch it three times in a row!!!!!
GO EDWARD!
THe movie was okay I enjoyed the humor more than anyting but it in no way compares to the series. The love bella & edward have for eachother is much more domniant in the book. I was merely dissapointed by all the parts that showed them lying on the meadow & on the bed with background music and nothing but their lips moving. In my opinion those moments were the crucial intimacy of getting to know one another & was not clearly seen in the movie. However, i did like bella’s character in the movie a bit more she had much more of a strength than her obsessive and eratic behavior described in the book. As for Edward he’s my favorite romantic fictional character who i’m sure every girl has fallen in love with.
Bottom line: movie good but the book is amazing!
