It looks like Jonah Hill and John C. Reilly will share the big screen in a fast-tracked comedy for Fox Searchlight. The two, along with Marisa Tomei, are in early talks to co-star in Safety Man, from directors Mark and Jay Duplass (Baghead, The Puffy Chair). Based on an original script by the Duplass brothers, Safety Man centers on a recent divorcee (Reilly) who meets the woman of his dreams (Tomei), only to discover that she has a manipulative son (Hill) who has no interest in sharing his mother with another man. None of the actors’ deals are confirmed but production is scheduled to begin in the early part of 2009.
