I’m 21 yrs old I SUPPORT TAYLOR FOR JACOB!!! he is an excellent choice
WOO!!! I’m SO glad they decided to keep him! He was EXACTLY how I pictured Jacob in Twilight and I’m PSYCHED to see him tone it up in New Moon!

I am so happy that they decided to keep Taylor Lautner. I’ve been Team Jacob from the beginning, and he seems like a perfect fit for Jacob. Like others have said, I don’t really see where the point in replacing him was. In the 2nd book, New Moon, he only gets more muscular and a little bit taller. No huge drastic change until the third book, so what’s the big deal? They could make anyone look like a Jacob, they didn’t have to go find someone else! But in any case, I am so happy that they kept him. [[And he was much better looking than the guy they wanted to replace him with anyway.]] I can’t imagine anyone else as Jacob! The movie is sure to be a good one now.

lol i totally agree with anthony. (except im sixteen.)but yea i really felt sorry when he was like “i gained 19 pounds” i was dumbstruck! do u know how much determination that is??!! lol i guess i think hes cool because of shark boy and lava girl that was my movie!! lol i remember for Halloween being sharkboy. but as a dude i am really happy for this guy he seems like a good person and it would be wrong if he didnt get it. so ya go team taylor!!!( although i am secretly in love with kristen and ashley greene) lol

Over on E on-line they are saying that Vanessa Hudgens is being considered for one of the vampires in Italy. What are they doing to this movie? Oh, but they will be filming in Italy, so that is cool.
YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! I’m soooo happy for Taylor. He worked hard to gain weight and work out. He was even insulted into doing a reading! Awesome. Weitz just won some cool points with us Twilighters. Keep it up!!! Way to go Taylor. I can’t wait to see the change.

I’m only going to see it NM because of Rob, so it doesn’t matter to me if Taylor is Jacob or not:D
I would of preferred Steven Strait as Jacob, now he is definitely suited for the role…but no *sigh*
How can this be in keeping with the storyline if Jacob doesn’t grow?

–To Anthony… you totally cracked me up!!! and yeah Taylor actually made me like Jacob, so he should remain, I can’t believe they weren’t considering him.
I think they should use Taylor for Jacob until his “tranformation”. I think they need an older actor to play Jacob once he transforms. Unless they use special effects to make him taller (and I guess he can bulk up for a more muscular look) then I don’t think it will be believable. I guess we’ll see. I hope the new director improves over Twilight. The first movie was okay but couldn’t compete with the book.
