First of all, Jaden is a wonderful actor for his age. Now I know why there are so many children of actors in hollywood these days who LIE about who their parents are. Secondly, movies get remade because they are old and out dated. Get over it people. Karate Kid is OLD. I recently tried to watch it with my kids and they ended up leaving the room. I watched it alone and just laughed. Bad 80′s hair, bad 80′s music, and BAD ACTING by the majority of the people in it. Ralph Machio? Are you serious? Like, gag me with a spoon! Totally!
i have no problem with the remake of this film. I like to see other version., and compare. but how is the karate teacher wich he should be japaneese, is going to be a chineese kung fu master in china. that means that the title should be chanched to kun fu kid. unless jakie chan is going to act as a japaneese man who lives in china.
and what’s worse is now it’s called “kung-fu kid” great~…..>__>
I don’t know why everyone is complaining. It seems like 1 of two things… Either all the nice comments are taken off or everyone that said the movie would suck for one reason or another doesn’t have much of an open mind. As far as Wills son goes, fo all anyone knows they did a search and the kid might have trully fit the part. And to answer the question as to what movies Chan has been in recently that does not have Rush Hour in the name… Watch the Forbidden Kingdom. Finally, I believe that kalling it Karate Kid is just fine and while it might not be much like the original, it is placed in a more… Comical/Modern Lifestyle. At least that is what I gathered from the previews.
This is gonna be Crap! i cant believe theyre remaking it and of all things to cast a horrible new by affiliation actor!
