Whatever… the point is, Joshua Rich is once again (as usual) completely off and does not even cop to it. Why does he have this job?
Liked “Paul Blart” – Finally a movie I could take my young teens to without cringing (unlike “Yes Man”). Not great cinema – who thought it would be? – but kudos to whoever working on the film kept the rating PG.
Clint is the man.
I told you Notorious would do over $20 Million. Look on Friday’s predictions and you will see my comments hat say Joshua always under estimates Urban films. It was the Highest grossed wide opening film per theater.
I wonder if the numbers for Mall Copp have been inflated by Teens buying tickets for the PG13 flick so they could get in to see MBV3D and Notorious which are both R-rated. I’ve seen people on a couple of different websites saying they were IDing everyone for these two movies.
The theory about the kids sneaking into MY BLOODY VALENTINE isn’t possible since they need the 3-D glasses you need to view the movie are given to you at the box office when u buy the tickets. Without the 3-D glasses you cant watch the film because its in digital 3-d and looks like crap without the glasses, but your theory could hold true for NOTORIOUS. Or for theaters showing MBV NOT in 3-D….
I thought the four quadrants were:
1. Soccer Moms
2. NASCAR Dads
3. White-Collar Pervs
4. The Obese

Sam, I agree that Josh’s predictions have been way off, but lighten up a little. It’s not like it’s costing you a dime to read this article, let alone the entire EW.com site. You can always start your own blog if you think you can do better, right?
Hotel for Dogs cracked the top 5?? Aarrg! That messed me up major!
If I never see another dog movie again, it’ll be too soon…
Ugh, Paul Bart pulled in over 30 million. What is wrong with people?
Yes Josh has been way off, but in his defense, he did get one right a couple months ago. He said Twilight would make $69M and everyone laughed. It made 69.4, he was dead on.
