zuko joins the heros at the end, do we really want race added just for race sake?
I agree that the characters should have been asian. I mean Angg is fine as a white lead but at least make everyone else look like what they do in the show. s a teen who absolutelly loves this show I am dissapointed in the cast
The entire show is based off of Chinese, Buddhist, Taoist, and Hindu philosophies and martial arts. That leads me to believe that most, if not all, of the characters were asian. I’m pretty sure that Katara and Sokka are supposed to be Inuit, though.
I love avatar airbender. I know w have to give everyone a try, but….why..why replace J. McCartney who is just enough to have sold out the theaters, i mmean this is basic econonmy 101. Duh

I just do not understand thE racial casting. And I’m not saying this is racist, but if I Were to make a film close to the original series, I would cast people
that looked like the characters. Dev Patel is a great actor, but he does not look like Zuko in the original series. I just wish that they would cast an actor that looks like Zuko.
I really love the idea of making Avatar the series into a movie and I love the directors look on the movie. I also like Dev Patel he’s a great actor in Slumdog Millionaire I watched it about four times.
well really. That race thing bothers me. I’ve been watching the cartoons for all time, and what I hate the most: “SHOULD ZUKO BE ANY OTHER BUT INDIAN?” really. I love the cartoon, and it doesn’t mean that I don’t like Indians, but IT JUST DON’T MATCH.
What do you prefer? “LET’S MAKE A MOVIE TO BE MORE LIKE STUDENT EXCHANGE” or “LET’S MAKE A MOVIE TO BE AS GOOD AND INTERESTING AS THE CARTOONS?” i choose the second option.
why did he have to be replaced even tho dev was fit for it but…
I’m sure all the actors will be happy to no that their races are so important to you all instead of their ability to act maybe SOME of you guy are the ones with a problem.
