Amazing.. NBC can’t be bothered to report on American citizens and their children who are suffering because of their jobs being outsourced, or when they are displaced by the exploitation of our visa program, or by those here illegally, but it can report 24/7 on this welfare cheat.
Why aren’t they asking the state if she reported to them, when she applied for food stamps, that she had 100 thousand dollars lying around? Such programs are supposed to insure that applicants don’t have the cash to feed their children, before approving them. If Sulemen didn’t report this, and the state didn’t bother checking, it had better charge her with welfare fraud.
Many children need help. The octo mom could take all revenue from all sources – with little likelyhood that taxpayers will be repaid. The mom premeditated having a minimum of seven to a possible twelve children with the callous expectation that at the very least welfare will pay for everything. While she and her six children live with her parents, her parents file bankruptcy, taxpayers support the existing three special needs children, taxpayers loan money for school, the mother used any money she earns to pay for IVF – an investment in her financial future. She says she cares about her children but her actions show callous disregard for them – exposing them to the possibility of not being able to feed or house them. The local elem school here is trying to get tax dollars for an entire community of children that amounts to the money this situation fabricated by the octo mom. There should be legal consequences for this, which could bleed society dry if others follow suit.
Any medium that pays N. Suleman should be boycotted. She did this for money not babies!

Everyone should care about child exploitation. It is everyone’s business. We need to have sensible legal guidelines in place that prevent mentally disturbed and media obsessed individuals from having children they cannot remotely care for and then cashing in on it. We need to boycott any media outlet and associated sponsors who are immoral enough to think this is OK. The public also needs to demand CPS investigation and oversight. Hopefully the next greedy, amoral attention seeking narcissist will think twice about using IVF to exploit children. Afterall, what’s next, overbirth for spare body parts, cheap labor,criminal enterprise?
I dont think its so much that people are reacting to her being single or attacking her for having the children it the circumstances that she is in and the fact that she has no stable job is using government money to support her many children (which as tax payers we are supporting her in a state that is greatly in debt) but i dont believe she is mentally in a state to be caring for the children and now seems that she is not even going to have a home for them to live so where will she turn to again? yes federal money =]
another thing that is curious…if she owes over $50,000 in student loans how does she plan on goin back to school with all those kids and no job not to mention payin back all that money?
why care, we might not have jobs (yeah, right, honey!no, we just have really well paid jobs that allow us to afford more free time. And what are you doing on this board? For the record, she doesn’t have 8 kids, she has 14. People are getting on her case for being an irresponsible fool. She already had 6 kids, OBVIOUSLY everything down there works fine…. WHY go to fertility drugs? She’s now YEARS away from being able to get a job as a single mom and a burden on taxpayers…. I’ll be ****ed if I ever waste a second of my time to watch a reality show featuring this moron…. I have a good job and 3 children, but at least I can afford my family on my own.
For everyone whinging about her and her babies, get a lie she has made her decision and it is done. Everyone whinges that she cannot financialy support her children but at the same time hope she doent get a reality shor or book deal which would support her and her children. She was irrisponsible yes but that does not change the fact that it is done. People should be wishing her and her children health and hapiness not wishing her death etc.
