Um, excuse me t3hdow, when a movie like watchmen, which cost 150 million dollars to produce and another 50 to 75 million to market, has only made 98 million in three weeks plus the fact that its foreign grosses have been awful, yeah thats what I would call a complete failure. BOMB!
Although I do agree with most comments about “I Love You, Man” being better tham “Know1ng”, these are two very different films and it’s like comparing apples and oranges. We all know that the the plot line and events in “Know1ng” are way out-there anf could never happen, the movie is fun for its sheer suspense and great special effects while “I Love You, Man” is very much what goes on with many males trying to bond with more male friends. I think there’s room for both to be huge successes and yes, I was also surprised by the big numbers that “Know1ng” pulled off this weekend. Thanks everyone.
….stop talking about Twilight!!! Enough!
I saw Duplicity, I admit my wife dragged me to see it. I liked it more than she did though because it had smart dialouge and was full of twists and double crosses. This is a movie made for adults. If enough adults don’t go see it then they shouldn’t complain if we keep getting Paul Blart and Twilight movies.
We’ve had more “tanks” than hits this year, with The Pink Panther 2, and a few others, even though Pink Panther 2 was AWESOME! This year’s movies SUCK, and Monsters vs. Aliens looks so retarted & dumb!
“knowing” was a big disappointment, it was good until the aliens and spaceships appeared…it was actually suspenseful, then it just got ridiculous…it reminded me of Noah’s Arc
