The Devil Wears Prada
actress Emily Blunt has not signed on to appear alongside Russell Brand in the Forgetting Sarah Marshall sequel/spin-off movie Get Him to the Greek. Brand was reported to have told an Australian radio station that Blunt would star with him in the film and the story has been widely repeated on the Internet. But Blunt’s U.K. publicist told EW earlier today it was “untrue” that the actress had been cast in the Marshall sequel. Universal, the studio behind Forgetting Sarah Marshall, also tells EW that the rumor is false. (Additional reporting by Josh Rottenberg)

Thank God! It’s bad enough Buble smeared his clamy digits all over Blunt, Russell Brand would have been the nail in the coffin.

Lubby Hindquarters that’s exactly what I thought too. Not to mention this is definitely not the kind of project she should ever work on, unless she’s looking to kill her career. All I kept thinking was first a Jack Black film and now this… you’ve got to be kidding me!

hey, then why did Jason Segel say the same thing to AINT IT COOL NEWS?

I’d heard that she was cameoing in it too. Jason Segel said it at the Love You Man screening at the Alamo. I think Universal are trying to cover their butts here – either she’s dropped out since then or they’re trying to keep her appearance a secret. He definitely said it though – as he does in an interview with Aint it Cool as well…
