I believe it was almost 10 years ago that Lisa S gave “Fight Club” a D- grade. That film, of course, is now regarded as one of the high water marks in the careers of Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, and David Fincher.
My point is, ever since I’ve taken Lisa’s reviews with a grain of salt. Not saying I disagree with all of them… Not even saying O&R is a bad movie… But when a critic is so spectacularly WRONG about one film, it makes you question their judgment overall.

Good for her. But really her box office power lies in the charm of Billy Ray Cyrus. I enjoyed this short film he starred in — pretty hilarious too — “A Fistful of Billy Ray Cyrus”…

That’s a shame about the total take for “Observe and Report.” That movie was freaking hilarious! I’ll bet anything that movie has an “Office Space” or “Napoleon Dynamite” cult status inside a year of its DVD release.

I’m not sure why so many people can’t stand Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana, other than the fact that she’s been wildly popular for quite a while. Kids can do far worse for “role models” or people they just like to watch on TV (or in movies).
I took my 7-year-old daughter on Friday and we both enjoyed it. People who feel the need to bash Miley/Hannah really need to get a life. She seems like a pretty nice kid, especially when you consider the wealth/fame she’s accumulated. I’d rather see my daughter watching her than some hip-hop “gangsta” act.

This is a good movie for the kids, very funny. The blue security golf cart that Miley uses in the movie has been donated to “Fiesta of the Spanish Horse” and will be raffled off May 2, 2009 with proceeds going to cancer research. Go to http://www.fiestaspanishhorse.org to see the golf cart & to get your raffle tickets. Miley has autographed the front of the golf cart, this is a one of a kind golf cart. Don’t miss out…

Very strong start for Miley Cyrus’ Hannah Montana movie! She was on a LOT of shows last week promoting that movie! And she had quite a lot of all stars in it with Billy Ray Cyrus, Vanessa Williams and Tyra Banks! That male good looking co-star also won the mostly female audience. And lastly Easter may have been a strong pull with Miley’s young tween to teen female fan base having the holiday off. All those factors might have led it to being No. 1! I wanted Observe and Report to do well, have Seth Rogan get another hit. But Paul Blart Mall Cop had the mall cop idea/concept first and no one wants to see another similar movie like it again.

I like very much Hannah Montana!

I took my daughter to see the Hannah Montana movie. I thought the movie was really enjoyable. I just left with the feeling that she should have chosen to be Miley, chosen to grow up a little. I think this movie will actually be the Hannah Montana “Jump the Shark” moment.

so you don’t like Hannah Montana and that’s why you call her retarded? shame on you. what is it exactly that makes her “retarded?” Just because you don’t like her music doesn’t make it right to use that cruel word retarded. It might help to think about how your words hurt people with special needs. You probably didn’t set out to hurt someone based on how they were born but that’s what you did.
