Wow I bet the movie was good but not that much money so fast good

  • me

transformers 2 was most excellent i’m glad they kept it long instead of cutting to the usual 90 minutes
batman was good as well but i agree that heath was the driving force bale is not my favorite actor

  • JT

I’m sorry to say I contributed to this total because I brought my nephew to go see it. Just a horrible, horrible movie.

  • JT

Well at least Heath was a human being driving the movie. Not a make believe CGI robot. You really didn’t need any humans in this movie.

Transformers 2 Was a great movie. A lot of the 80s kids growing up know the story very well and I think it came across as loyal to the fan base as much as possible. The Fallen reminds you a lot of that character n the Cartoon movie that had the 3 faces. The Graphics where awesome to say the least and you can pretty much easily tell who was the Autobots and decepticons. A great see and cant wait for it on Blue Ray

Did I mention how horrible the movie was?

Saw this movie yesterday. Didn’t pay for it but saw it I’m glad I didn’t pay 4 it cuz it was an extended special effects show not a movie.

A sad statement on the intelligence of tweens and teens everywhere.
This was a loud, incoherent and utterly unwatchable movie. Horrible on every level of moviemaking – not even popcorn fun or guilty-pleasure fun.
But such is the Twitter age – I weep for the future (i.e. yet another one of these movies from Michael Bay).

Growing up, Transformers was without a doubt my favorite toy and cartoon. As a kid, I enjoyed the animated film without loving it. However, Bay has completely destroyed anything resembling quality with these terrible films. Amazingly, he somehow managed to make them MORE juvenile and silly than the originals while instilling a nasty streak of sexuality and stereotypes that never existed in the first place. Michael Bay has created an abomination that is not fit for children or adults that like quality. Huge disappointments. Spielberg should have directed them instead. He knows how to create a sense of awe and wonder without resorting to crass jokes.

weez, I agree completely. People in nyc and LA need to see Hurt Locker and avoid the racist + catering to unintelligent masses transformers.

  • Joey

Agreed – Michael Bay has forever ruined one of my favorite childhood toys.
I would rather watch a YouTube video of a puppet show with the Transformer action figures in a foreign language by mimes with scary clown faces than sit through a second of this AWFUL movie!

I saw Transformers 2. It was good and it was what I expected. It had very little acting, lots of explosions and special effects, and some funny parts. I wasn’t expecting the movie to be great and I didn’t go in looking for that. I went to have a good time and it did that. It’ll make about 350-400 million in the U.S. I think Harry Potter can top it. Star Trek is still the best I’ve seen this summer. As far as the bad reviews go, that doesn’t affect summer movies like this during the first week. It’ll have an effect for the upcoming weeks.

Forget Transformers 2, I can’t wait for PUBLIC ENEMIES Wednesday!
