Justin is obviously being a troll. Look away.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was the summer movie of 2009……everything else was popcorn…
Transform…and roll out,to the best movie of the summer.
I think that “Up” was the movie of the summer. It was awesome. I also loved “The Hangover”. That is one of those movies I culd see over and over again. It made a ton of money with a very small budget. And I thought “Julie and Julia” was one of the most creative movies of the summer even though I would see Meryl Streep in almost anything. That movie has inspired me to want to cook.
I agree with Owen on Harry Potter. The movies really are great, I’m a huge fan of the books, but even I’m starting to get Pottered-out myself.
While ‘Up’ is one of the better movies of this summer, it still doesn’t match Pixar’s best to me.
$900m+ and counting suggests the world doesn’t agree with you. Potter movies have never been for the American ‘popcorn’ audiences. There’s too much plot and not enough explosions. Thankfully, the rest of the world appreciates a franchise with substance to it.
UP and District 9 are the two best. Nuff said.
