the only internet tv i’m willing to pay for is Graboid. they have no ads.
but i’m from britain and we don’t get hulu here.
I’m all for paying for internet content. But the whole reason people go on Hulu is because it provides free serivce. You can’t just make a huge change like asking people to pay and then not expect them not to get pissed off.
Execs will still make their money. I will still buy the DVD of the shows I watch and love on Hulu b/c I want the commentary as well, but I am a tv junkie and not an average tv viewer.
Wow… some of these Pro America.. we hate Canada comments. You know a guy in a straight jacket, beating his head against the wall insisting he is the king of the world, really is just a guy in straight jacket beating his head against the wall. So keep insisting you’re the best country if it makes you happy. In my mind the country that controls the “best country” would be the better country… Which reminds me… I really should visit China sometime. And when I do I’ll proudly stitch my country’s flag on my backpack, because the rest of the world doesn’t hate us for being proud, arrogant and ignorant. People around the world are turned off when they think I’m a yank, but are relieved when they discover I’m Canadian… that should tell you something. Get over yourself. The American empire has fallen, it’s a new world. P.S: I’ve lived in the US and I’ve lived in Canada… in fact I’ve lived in South Africa to. I’d live in South Africa or Canada way before ever living in the US again.
I mean.
Even if it is a new world, as you claim, Canada still falls under “worthless” on the countries that don’t matter list.
And don’t use your living situation to justify your own ignorance. I’ve lived in South Africa too, and anyone who says they would choose SA over Canada or the US is only trying to prove a terrible point of view on the internet.
The contradictions in your response are rife. The title of your post says “CANADIAN and Proud of it” and in your reply “I’ll proudly stitch my country’s flag on my backpack”. Yet, in the same breath you say you hate the US because we’re “proud”. Sounds like you’re just as arrogant and ignorant as the Americans you love to hate. Congratulations, you’ve done nothing to advance the image of Canadian people.
i am american but wish i had canada’s free universal healthcare
I am an American and dated a canadian and never again, will i do that
Hey there my Canadian moochers to the north
(Just kidding, I love you wacky folks) If you want access to Hulu, then sign up for any of the (mostly free still, I think) US based web proxys and run through one of them for your internet access. What Hulu doesn’t know won’t hurt them!
