The original was great. It really showed what a fine actress Connie Nielsen is. Hope this one is just as great but I find that remakes kinda loses its magic
Wow, am soooo excited to watch it. Am a BIG fan of Jake Gyllenhall. Kudos!
The original film is absoultely fantastic, and I hope the remake does it justice. Love Natalie and Jake, meh on Tobey, but will see it anyway.
Would potentially be watchable is Maguire wasn’t in it. Maybe he’ll be lost in Afghanistan for most of the movie.
You, my dear, are stupid. Clearly in need of a labotomy.
I guess you missed Spiderman 3
Tobey Maguire looks great in it! I think people will start taking him a lot more seriously with this film.
this movie looks fantastic. A lot of really strong actors in some really emotionally difficult roles. It looks great, but I’m guessing I’ll need the Kleenex.
I can’t wait to see this movie. I didn’t know anything about it until my brother told me…his daughter and son-in-law are extras in the movie! She can be seen in the opening scene at the church and he plays , of all things, a terrorist in the movie!
Looks like this is gonna be good… I’m mostly impressed at how much Tobey and Jake actually look like brothers. The Twitter handle (@Lionsgatemovies) was talking about it yesterday, too. Awesome casting, IMO.
This movie looks like it’s going to be really dark but Gyllenhall’s and Portman’s performances make this movie a must watch.
I would watch it when it comes out. I like all three actors and it seems very dramatic.
Can’t wait!
Hollywood has certainly lost their ability to give us a surprise.
I recall in the early days of film making that the show of an ankle and a 3 second kiss could easily tantalize an audiences expectation.
But, just like the total film itself…they feel a need to show all in their trailers. They used to be call teasers…now they are basically false propaganda. Most great trailers make for poor movie making.
I’d really rather not spend money on watching a holier than thou vegan who somehow thinks eating meat is bad, but child rape is totally okay.
I would consider watching this movie if Portman wasn’t in it. I find her to be overrated in all of her adult roles (although the Professional and Beautiful Girls were great).
I cannot wait for Friday! I think I will need to bring tissues into the movie theater for sure! Yay!
