'New Moon,' 'Twilight,' Bella Swan, and me

As many commenters have pointed out in posts both gentle and not so, my review of The Twilight Saga: New Moon is a mild one. Read the full post.

the “new moon” movie was awful.
it was just a series of scenes with no structure to it.it has no rising action climax or falling action.
lets hope the third one will be much better.

i believe that kristen stewart thought too much about the role of bella and then completely ran over it. when she says bella’s lines it sounds the way a cast is when just receiving and going over the script for a new play. i also believe that she interpretted the character in a wrong way.

    More like a C

Meh… whatever. The kids like this kinda stuff and it sells so the studios are happy

I believe part of the reason Bella’s behaviour may reflect some of the culture from the 1950′s is because of her personality itself; she is described in the book by her mother as being “middle-aged” and an “old soul”. In a sense she is a mature woman in the body of a 17 year old girl
