I did not like JAckman last year: He looked saddled with things he was uncomfrtable doing. The musical number was atrocious.

This year, why not have New Moon honored in a way? Show bits of things the audience knows, or talk about upcoming films we anticipate, and more people may get excited. Why not?

As for SYTYCD dancers. Do not see how they have anything to do with movies, but I love them. If you have really cool choreographers from musicals giving them numbers to do that relate to specific movies? Hey, I wouldn’t protest.

Hugh Jackman was amazing last year, he should come back every time to host. The musical number was relevant and apt, and he had presence. How could you not have liked that?

how would including new moon actors to present hurt the broadcast? maybe some of the twihards would google some of the movies up for awards. (like slumdog millionaire last year)

I am positive that since the dawn of movies, there have been young beautiful men and women trotted out to add glamour to the event and to allow the studios to introduce their new talent. There is nothing wrong, therefore, in having the Twilighters show up as presenters. There have always been dance numbers with young talented dancers, so having some of them be dancers we recognize is not out of line, either, especially when you consider that dance movies have been becoming more popular as well.

I am a movie addict. I see them all. I really liked Twilight. One should read the book then see Twilight.Robert Pattinson acting was really good after you realize he is very shy and speaks with an English accent One only needs to see him on a talk show after seeing Twilight. I couldn’t believe it was the same person. His acting ability has to be really good to pull off Edward and make every female fan believe that he is Edward. I personaly was very into Edward . Edward is the kind of guy most girls dream about.I really like the real person-Robert Pattinson. I find his shyness charming. Oh, by the way I am not a weird mom. I am a college graduate, 63 years old and open mined enough to realize it takes all types to make movies. Acting is making the audience believe the charactors are real and what they are doing is real. Twilight has for sure made vampires loved and desired. The Twilight movies have just as much right to be at the Oscars as any other movie.Ones opinion is their opinion and a opinion is like a nose, everyone has one. The box office receipts says alot of people have the opinion that they liked the movie and those people would like to see their favorites reconized also, not as a joke but maybe as a presenter. If I am not mistaken I think Twilight is nominated for the movies music.Enough said .Read the books get lost in a good story , go see the movies them make a opinion and remember that a opinion is just that, an opinion not something to get all bent out of shape over let alone about movie

You are mistaken. Twilight, thankfully, got no nominations as it is an atrocious film.

Kristen Stewart can show up anywhere she wants, baby. I’ll be there. Dear God is she ever hot.

If Shankman dropped the Best Song performances in order to shorten the show then he absolutely should not be including dance and song numbers that have absolutely nothing to do with the Oscars. This was not a year of musicals unlike previous years so now he’s just harkening back to his youth when he danced at the Oscars (and pimping SYTYCD which he is invested in).

    Why the hell not?
