Come on. If a Pixar or Dreamworks film opened with a lousy 7 million on its first Friday, it’d be declared a flop. Considering the huge hype surrounding “Princess”, 7 million is pretty underwhelming. I’ve no desire to see it because it looks like a generic, by-the-numbers Disney direct-to-DVD cheapquel. Feh.
New Moon’s repeat viewing is doing really badly in comparison to Twilight. Hopefully they listen to fans next time and give us more Edward/Bella.
How could they give you more Edward/Bella, if they were planning on following the book though? Edward’s hardly in that book. I mean, I don’t even like Twilight, but I can at least understand why he wasn’t in the second movie that much.
I thought the princess and frog was totally typical and boring. I couldn’t wait for it to end so I could get on with my life. The firefly and gator were the best characters. But even the gator was a copy if Baloo.

Most of its fan base in school? Silly heads! 2D hand drawn animation has many adult admirers! I hope to see alot more in the future!
TPATF has had a horrible marketing campaign. Maybe if Disney had, oh I dunno, MARKETED it, it would do better. Besides for posts on EW (and a trailer before a movie) I have seen nothing about this movie. The earlier poster was right, if this was a Pixar movie it’d be considered a gigantic flop.

Disney’s marketing did suck. It should have been a summer or wide Thanksgiving release.
I’m delighted. Everything else on right now is such total crap. It’s been a very, very disappointing movie year, and beyond Up, Star Trek, and a couple other movies, it’s been a sad showing by Hollywood.

The ad I saw showed a croc and a frog
I thought the princes was a crocodile
Instead it was a ….black woman, false advertising
And the prince is ….arabic or muslim

Took my grand daughter there and was very disterbed to see all the negrocentric imagary being presented to children as someting desireable. I guess thats what we can except considering the disgrace in the white house.
