Truly hoping that Stulhbarg wins for Best Actor. I really loved his work in Serious Man, and was pleased with Globes giving it to Farrell last year.

I wish there was more Serious Man love. I feel like a lot of it just got the shaft.

Hate to see Basterds be nominated. While the Waitz performance is Oscar worthy, the movie itself is morally bankrupt, a war crime primer.

I love Meryl Streep, truly I do. But I don’t think every movie she does is worthy of some kind of award nomination. Espcially when the movie itself hasn’t even came out yet. Same with James Cameron’s Avatar. Sure its gonna be great, but maybe them telling us that it deserves to be consider as Best Picture(Drama), might help it ticket sales.

No Viggo for “The Road”? Oh, sorry, that movie was toooo depressing. What vapid nonsense.

I’m rooting for Coraline myself. I loved Up as well but pixar needs to lose once in a while. And also I’m crossing my fingers for Waltz to win. Ooohhh That’s a Bingo! LOL

I really, really did not like Up in the Air. Sour, and except for Vera Farmiga, the acting wasn’t great at all. Kendrick’s voice was too tinny and her line readings were off. No emotion to them. Clooney is a distant actor who does the same mannerisms in every movie.

My vote for Best Actor goes to Jeff Bridges in “Crazy Heart.” Bet he wins, too.

I am sure Best Animation is between Up and Mr. Fox, but Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs was way more entertaining to watch! Just my opinion!

    What?
    No Almodovar?

    Tragic!
