It wasn’t exactly a surprise, but it was still good to see Colin Firth recognized with a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a Drama for his impeccable performance in A Single Man. (Julianne Moore and the film’s score were also recognized.) In Part 3 of our OscarWatch interview, Firth lightens up a bit as we discuss Moore’s flawless British accent and his own on-screen flesh-baring.

Damned good interview, Dave! Firth is so charming and insightful, and I think you’re right about this being an iconic role for him. I can’t wait to see this.
colin firth is fantastic in the movie, but who is looking at his nudity when nicholas holt has such a beautiful *** and jon kortajarena doesn’t even have to disrobe to make me feel like a wolf. and i am twenty. hehe
I happen to think Colin Firth is one of the finest actors alive. That said, my favorite “role” to see him in is “Colin Firth getting interviewed”. What an articulate, interesting fellow.
Absolutely!
Colin is an amazing actor and a witty and mesmorizing interviewee. He sure ain’t difficult to look at either!!!
Good Lord he is a gorgeous man.
