Well Ya Boy is here and im gonna give you my prediction on Avatar. I have been right every week so make no mistake i am on point with this one too. Avatar 3 days opening will be:
175 Million dollars
Breaking Batman, Spiderman, and that lame movie New Moon. Yep James Cameron is the King. 175 mil seems like a good opening!

Sad when the definition of a ‘king’ is a wife-beating egomaniac.
I will be checkin’ put “Avatar” this weekend! That new SJP/Hugh Grant rom-com sure seems to be Netflix worthy- considering the trailer.
I think Avatar will do great, but not that great. I’m sensing quite a bit of disinterest amongst the people I know. There is no big set fanbase upon which to draw, like the Potter movies and LOTR and Twilight. Not on that scale. The good news is the great reviews and probable good word of mouth mean it could have some serious legs. But this movie has faced alot of skepticism and shrugs and I think it’s going to take more than great reviews to get 87 mil on opening weekend.
The east coast is going to be covered in a foot of snow this weekend. I think people might be staying home.
$87 dollars? Thats SO dumb. The movie will at least make a million dollars if not ALOT more. $87 is like 10 people??!?!?!
When is Up In The Air going wide? It is only in 15 theaters. And is Precious going to expand or are they just going to let it die?
Anyone have any idea about the box office for Crazy Heart this weekend? There were a ton of people at a 10:45 AM showing in NYC on Friday
