I love Kevin Smith’s films. I simply cant believe he changed the title when he didnt change Zach and Miri make a porno. This was an informative story but for Christ sake whould Guido The Killer Pimp stop talking i meen christ hes been on here for like 3 days now. I have 3 questions for you. 1. how little of a life do you have? 2. Why do you even read about kevin smith if you dont even like him? 3. Do you enjoy destroying classic 80′s movies like with your terrible insults.

Kevin Smith is overrtated.
Overweight nerd wearing denim shorts all year round and still thinks it’s the 90′s.

I’m not ashamed to admit to being a Kevin Smith fan. I do agree that his earlier stuff is probably his best, but Chasing Amy was not is last great movie. I think Dogma is a classic in its own right and an incredible piece of film making

I didn’t know the name was changed. When the trailer ran before Sherlock Holmes, I didn’t realize it was the KS directed Bruce Willis cop movie. No one laughed during the trailer. Not a single laugh from a packed crowd- not a good sign at all. Kevin Smith might have another flop here. I sure hope not though, I love the guy.

Cop Out looks good. Tracy Morgan from 30 Rock and Bruce Willis in any film together is a must see. To hell with all you naysayers. It is obvious that you have no idea how a film is made and/or marketed and the shit we filmmakers have to deal with.

There seem to be two kinds of (D*icks?) movie watchers: people who care about box office and people who don’t. The latter are already missing the point before we start discussing the relative quality of the films themselves. The opinion that a movie “sucks” because it didn’t make a certain amount of money is based on a fallacy.

All that said, Kevin Smith’s career has been sustained in a way that many, many others would kill and die for. Ignoring this shows a remarkable naivete about our culture. “Movie P**p Shoot”, anyone??

Saw Cop Out. Great movie. Hard to go wrong with that cast, and Kevin Smith didn’t disappoint. Shame it couldn’t be called A Couple of Dicks, but I’m happy the movie was made at all. Kevin is a great director.
