I’m glad to see “Casino Royale” on your list Owen. I really loved it when it came out. The romance between Bond and Vesper really stayed with me. After seeing the film I appreciated the more serious Bond films even more.

Pretty weird list. Far From Heaven and Requiem for a Dream are great but where’s THE DEPARTED and ETERNAL SUNSHINE and THERE WILL BE BLOOD, CITY OF GOD..

And that’s why Owen should be fired. That list sucks. Where’s There Will Be Blood, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Children of Men? Oh yeah they were replaced with Far From Heaven and Chuck and Buck. WHAT?!?! OK I knew not to trust your reviews before but now I don’t even think I’ll bother reading what you have to say at all. I will give you some props for Casino Royale though, easily the most rewatchable action movie of the decade.

Hey, what’s wrong with Gladiator, haters?!? I honestly can’t think of 10 movies that warrant being on a best of the ’00′s list, except for ones like Gladiator because it left such an enduring memory.
