If Avatar wins picture, I’m never watching the Oscars again. Hurt Locker for the win!
The Hurt Locker is not the best movie of the year. And, neither was Up In The Air. Avatar stands out like the crown jewel among the Best Picture nominees.
Avatar will be lumped in with past Best Picture winners Around the World in 80 Days and The Greatest Show on Earth if it manages to get the Oscar. Not great company.
I hope Avatar sweeps the Oscars. That movie is pure cinema magic.
i don’t really care now about avatar wins the award or not because no matter what Avatar is the best movie so far for me and for those Avatards out there and here. hurt locker can win all those big gold statue and praised by the critics but all i care now is that avatar is number 1 for four weeks and will likely to continue until mid february and also that this movie is a previously unknown with no fanbase whatsoever but became a megablockbuster and now let’s just keep on putting them 3d glasses on until Avatar is not in theatre anymore and wait for the sequel while these avatar haters get all excited that their poor favorites got all the awards, but what’s the point of getting awards if the movie is not selling anyway?
Transformers made alot of money too. Money does not equal quality.
AVATAR finally gets the respect is deserves. I think critics forget who movies are made for…THE PEOPLE!!! James Cameron is King of the World once more!
