Rob – Don’t do it. It’s not a lack of acting skills, but a big mistake hollywood is making right now is casting every big name together for the sake of the name, not the chemistry – is the chemistry really there?? It has to be there to be believable – make sure it’s really there and translates to the screen. If this was Rachel McAdams I could see it – not sure of this is one that would work.Looking forward to Eclipse, Remember Me and Unbound Captive – and Breaking Dawn if they don’t absolutely sanitize and destroy the book.
i think robert will be great…..i have seen all his movies not only because of twilight but he’s a fabulous actor…of course i will watch any movies that he acts in
Rob will do great in this film. He has natural “raw” talent that I haven’t seen since Johnny Depp surfaced years ago!
First off right now every studio and director would want to cast Robert because it doesn’t matter if he’s good or not because his young lady audience is going to see it! Which means money! With this recession studios have to figure out how to get people in the theaters.I’m not saying he can’t one day be a great actor. I’m just saying don’t be naive and think he’s being cast for any other reason than he will pull in lots of girls to see the movie which means money.I have only seen Twilight and thought he carried it.
Most people ignore Rob because they’re not fans of Twilight and that’s where his fame emerged from. I’ve seen his other films, previous to Twilight and New Moon, and he prooves to be an incredible actor. People may not take him seriously because of his role in Twilight, but honestly, that’s just one of his projects. You’ll see in time, in his other projects, that he’s incredibly talented, aside from being ridiculously gorgeous.
Robert Pattinson will be a great Jacob. He can immerse himself in a character and run with it. He has a great future. I have enjoyed every movie he’s been in. All people need support and help. Why he has to be torn down is beyond me. Go Rob!

great book, hope they dont mess the script, rpatz should be ok as long as the dialogue makes sense
Robert Pattinson will do justice to the beloved character of Jacob Jankowski. I have no doubt about it. He will be fantastic!
I’ve read the book. I’ve seen Pattinson. He was born to do this role. Pattinson has the mind, the look and the soul of Jacob Jankowski. No mistake on this.
