I’m still waiting for The Blind Side to win this one!
Don’t hold your breath. That would be like Richard Dreyfuss winning for Best Actor for “Krippendorf’s Tribe.”
The Hurt Locker needed a better advisor on set. When we watched the movie, we could do nothing but sit there and pick at all of the mistakes that the movie made. That alone would make me think that this movie does not deserve a best picture award, much less a nomination. I say District 9 all the way. I don’t even like sci-fi movies but absolutely loved this film.
it doesn’t deserve to win anyhow. It’s boring. “Avatar” doesn’t deserve it, either.
The winner should be “Inglorious Basterds”
“IB” had some great moments, but it dragged in a lot of places. While I’m not surprised at Waitz’s nomination, I am surprised at the nominations for just about everything else from this picture.
