At last some good news concerning a cancelled HBO series. Loved “Rome” but was disappointed when it was given the flick….Now please somebody do Deadwood!!!
Wow!really?
AWESOME!!
I was really felt so sad when it ends.Like there’s still a lot of uncomplete things in the charcters.
please please please please please please bring it back
please please please bring it back
Truly outstanding news! A great deal to look forward to there.
One movie is not enough for such a great show! I want to see a whole season 3 damn it!!!! >:(
Rome was a fantastic show, I will be truly saddened to see such talent with all that has been put into the series put to rest. If there is a movie it will be a hit!!!
Pullover and Vorenus did not die at the end of Rome. The last we saw of the two was in Rome secretly bringing in Caesar’s illegitamate son,Caesarion.Titus was again recovering from his wounds.Lucius was walking through Rome’s seedier Aventine backways.
Ron, I have both seasons of the show. It was not Titus Pullo recovering from wounds, but Lucious Vorenus. Pullo was walking through Rome’s streets speaking to Caesarion who, by all accounts, is really Pullo’s son, not Caesar’s. Furthermore, Vorenus is not dead as confirmed by Bruno Heller.
Now knowing that Vorenus did not die I am happy with the ending and while I would love to see a film continuation of the story, I fear for its quality…and I would be upset if Ray Stevenson and Kevin McKidd did not play the roles of Pullo and Vorenus.
As far as Season 3, Roger, it is unfortunate that proposed seasons 3 and 4 were condensed into Season 2. But I, for one, am glad that they were able to conclude the story…on a fairly upbeat note too.
What is the status of the film??
I’m so happy with this news :’)
I loved the series. I just hope the film is as good.
