The studio confirmed online reports that the How I Met Your Mother star will live among the blue people. Harris will play an expectant father who has his life turned upside down upon meeting these creatures. The film, set to begin shooting in April, will be directed by Raja Gosnell, the man behind Beverly Hills Chihuahua. It will take place in New York City’s Central Park.

A bit off topic but,I like NPH but seriously it is becoming to much now. Enough. Why can’t Smurf Village be hidden somewhere in Central Park? I’m looking forward to the movie.
I kind of hoped that the land the Smurfs would be transported in was modern day Belgium. This way we get to experience another culture while being in the same country the Smurfs were created.
Sadly, people feel that things need to be Americanized rather than be open to different cultures.
