The same people who hate Rob are always using his name or image to get hits(Lisa)! You started this only to get the Rob haters to battle his fans! Which has not changed my opinion of you or your rotten review! You trashed a wonderful movie and do not deserve to be a critic!

Did not have great expectations but have to say very impressed, wonderful screen play, excellent acting all parts (can’t single out any one actor but Rob Pattinson did surprise..clearly has great potential) Exceptionally tasteful ending considering the tragic event. Considered walking out of movie before the end, having read some spoilers prior to viewing, stayed and ending was handled with utmost care, glad I stayed. Hope the spoiler alerts don’t turn people away because I think that this is a wonderful movie that should be enjoyed by all. Great job to all concerned, exceptional.

I’m going to say Rob Pattinson because of Twilight yes but he seems like a humble nice kid but I do love Johnny Depp but he’s just too old but boy is he talented. And I love Leo for his acting chops also but I’LL GO WITH ROB because of Twilight I know that’s lame but I adore that role.

Okay, so my list goes like this:

Alice in Wonderland / Johnny Depp: okay. Probably my favourite, but not by much. I thought the movie in general was kind of all over the place, kind of like Depp’s oddly placed Scottish brogue.

Shutter Island / Leonardo DiCaprio: meh. I only went because I’d seen the trailer so many times, I felt like I had to. It was predictable, and the music was wildly over the top. DiCaprio is definitely watchable, though, and you feel for his character, which must’ve been hard to do, considering I found the movie so lacklustre.

Green Zone / Matt Damon: Haven’t seen it. I kind of wish that Damon would branch out a little bit more, though, because I do think that he’s really good, but he’s been kind of bogged down in the mainstream stuff lately (not to count Invictus or The Informant!).

Remember Me / Robert Pattinson: Not my cup of tea. It’s the kind of movie that, regardless of the leads (even if Emilie de Ravin is in it), I wouldn’t see because it seems rather trite and like it’s trying to make me cry, which I always find offensive (see: My Sister’s Keeper, book and movie).

That being said, and being absolutely a Twilight hater, I have to say that I think Robert Pattinson has potential. Does he need more time and experience? Absolutely, but I thought that his work in Little Ashes was actually quite good, and who didn’t love him as good guy Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter? So, I think the short and long of it is this: give the guy a bit of a break, he is still a newcomer. Plus, I don’t think his acting chops were even part of the subject of this article.

Ps. This comment is really long. Sorry.

  • Over the top

God reading the RP fans comment is enough to make sure I never see anything he stars in. Just over the top, these are actors we don’t know them, the rudeness to those who have a different opinion and cult like love is a turn off. Yes it makes me hope he fails, and before I had no opinion of the man

  • Carol

Wrong three! Alex O’loughlin/John Cusack/Johnny Depp. Robert Pattinson? Thanks for the laugh!

Remember Me was a good movie. The actors played their parts well and it was believable. I thought Mr.Robert Pattinson played a wonderful hopeless romantic and thats something the world should see more of. Great show.

Damon,Johnny and Leo had been acting for a long time. They are seasoned actors compared to Robert who just started. I am a fan of Robert ,he has a very handsome face, you won’t forget that face. I have watch most of his movies released in the usa and I am not even close to his age I am old to be his mother but I don’t mind I am still a fan.

I’d actually like to see Robert Pattinson in a comedy role. I like his acting thus far and think he’s been very believable in his characters, which is what I look for in an actor.

The Twilight hype is *because* his acting is so believable that he actually became Edward Cullen, the hero in all the Twilight books. The teens are in love with Edward Cullen from reading the books, and he played the character so well that the love they had for Edward was transferred to Robert.
