sorry for my mistakes I meant to write Angelina is only 34 has an Oscar, has 7 children has her former husband and is filmming with A list superstar right now! (The tourist with Jhonny Depp in Venice), and in the other hand look at current Courtney Cox’s success.
just like last weekend this is an Apples V Oranges game. Alice is a something for everyone, fun for the family, big flashy so you really need to see it in the theatres for the full effect film. Green Zone, Remember Me, Bounty Hunter etc. are all more niche, more adult (so you can’t really take the 5 year old), no difference between seeing it on the big or little screen movies.
Repo Man even is more character than flash.
so yeah they are going to have a smaller draw. it doesn’t make them flops. not recovering their budget would be a flop. Green Zone might fall into that position but Remember Me recovered half the budget in one weekend even with the noted factors and the fraction of the twihards that are actually Robert’s fans (and not Edward Cullen fans). So that’s pretty good. I suspect one or two of this weeks films will do the same.
i agree, angelina is a real movie star and jen is trying really hard to be one, i don’t think she can ever get away for her rachel character, she should stick with t.v. comedy, i heard she wants to be a bond girl, lol all she has to show for the past 5 yrs is her tone & tan bod,her boring hairdo, and a bunch of crappy movies, its so sad that she has to pretend to date her co-stars so people talk about her movies, what’s even more sad that she showed up to oscars last year w/ john meyer and looking like a mess on stage while brad and angelina sitting there bcuz their nominated, and john dumped her two wks later
lol that oscar moment must have been so akward to her! and funny for all of us. Hey Jen , leave movies to A list superstars like Angelina and go back to TV where u are really great actually!
Repo Men better not do well, it’s a cheap rip off of Repo! The Genetic Opera.
I haven’t heard anyone mention Derailed where she was a totally different character to her rom com types. I thought she was very believable. The Break-up…yes, it was with Vince Vaughan but does anyone comment on him playing the same douchebag character in all of his movies, or what about Will Farrell…is there any movie he isn’t playing an over the top comedian that seems somewhat mentally challenged. People can’t handle the fact she has made her way into the movie business after her tv career. As for clinging onto all men she stars with, people…have you not been listening to every interview she mentions how she is aware of this typecast and how she has learnt to get over it…why can’t we?? You don’t like the media’s spin/hype on Jennifer Aniston, not the woman herself.
