Ok well yeah, the 1st remake sucked, AS a Godzilla movie though. If Zilla was his own monster I think it would have been much more enjoyable. It seems as if they made an awesome monster movie, didn’t know what to call him, and slapped on the name: Godzilla. Legendary has made terrific movies so far! Come on people! 300? Sherlock Holmes?? Watchmen??? Clash Of The Titans???? THE DARK KNIGHT huh!? Ring any positive bells??? Lol. I think they know what to do, yes, they changed up ALOT of the Clash of the Titans story, but seriously still turned out to be freakin’ cool! All we can do is quit the whining and trust at least a little bit in these very talented studios. Just look at the new Godzilla! The pix are all over the Internet! He already looks incredible. Legendary and Warner Bros. have my support and good luck 110%!

This is more for the ones that want to keep bashing the US version of Godzilla. If you all are not aware of it yet, in “Godzilla: Final Wars” the real “G” spanks the imposter….

Anyone who wants to see a rehash of Toho’s rubber suit Godzilla is crazy with all the new film technology that’s out there. I for one liked the ’98 version because it was much more convincing. Make it like Cloverfield and they might have something there.

Like reading all the comments, but let’s keep politics out of this.

How about doing this Godzilla flick as a sequel to “Godzilla 1985,” where you have the kid who played Raymond Burr’s grandson, now grown-up, return as one of the main characters.

How about doing this Godzilla flick as a sequel to “Godzilla 1985,” where you have Godzilla come ashore in Hawaii?

Remake similer to first one with better effects sounds good. Make Godzilla a monster movie like first one, do not need another scene like in remake where Godzilla (or what ever it was) bends down and just about gives the hero a kiss……

hell yeah rather watch godzilla vs king kong a new version

Totally stoked about the new “G” movie..! Been a “G” fan since I was three. What I’m waiting for now is a Godzilla/Gamera crossover, now that could be interesting..??

I hope that legendary pictures will keep on doing the spin off series of the son of godzilla and i have a great idea for the movie it could be about the son of godzilla to battle both battra and megalon in the new movie.

i hope the special effects arent as cheesy and the monster effects in clash of the titans, was not to happy about the change in story there from the original and i hope they don’t take to much creative misdirection in the new Godzilla movie. sorry the kraken was a good effect but they dropped the ball on some of the other stuff….

ok I like to say that ID4 and The Patriot were good movies, and i personally enjoyed the 1998 film…. i know its not like the original but come on…. its not the bad, i would love to see a sequel to that one, especially with the cliff hanger… (the cartoon series based after that movie doesnt count) and dont get me wrong i am a big fan of the original, im just saying the 1998 film was enjoyable… besides if it had a diff. name… some if not most of u…. would have diff. opinions and the movie would’ve probally got better ratings…
