It doesn’t matter who they get to direct. This movie is going to be career suicide for all the parties involved unless they completely rewrite the book from cover to cover. I mean, uterus-munching aside, there’s no way to depict Edward and Bella’s morning after without making it look like the scene from a graphic domestic violence PSA. This is going to be an utter train wreck.

you guys hate for twilight is pathetic you haters even went to the extreme by attacking boo boo stewart.i mean common the movie the kid is in isn’t even out yet and the little kid got punched.seriously that’s when i stoped caring about ur stupid thoughts about twilight.you haters are the ones that suck.you guys are the only gays in here you guys are the only losers with no life.hate to say but twilight will forever be great suck on that haters.

Didn’t he get punched by some kid in a crowded who’s friend dared him to? I mean, what’s that got to do with people disliking the series? It wasn’t like the attack on him was a premeditated attack on the fandom.

    what Kat said (4:20, 4/28).

i am team hardwicke. they should have given her the time she wanted to do all the films the right way. it’s too bad hollywood suits are so very very very very very dumb.

Well, you know if the series had a good screenwriter and they took their time coming out Like Harry Potter- They have been spread out for ten-tweleve yrs. LOTR did come out fast but with the right director and book that can work. But Even a series like LOTR and Star Wars took two or three yrs between films. Otherwise you get SICK and ANNOYED at the fanbase/material. But this is a fad and summit wants it out fast.

To the poster on page 1: When I first read it, I saw “Bill Compton” as well. TrueBlood withdrawal…

Anyway, whoever even thought that this movie might be good to do in 3-D is completely ludicrous. Talk about overkill. I’ve seen two movies in 3-D: Nightmare Before Christmas and Avatar. I didn’t think Avatar was even all that great, but even so, I’m just tired of 3-D already. Not to mention suddenly breaking up so many movies into 2 parts: Harry Potter, The Hobbit, Breaking Dawn…

But I’m not totally hating. It’s nice to see Edward and Jacob come to life on film, even if the movies aren’t everything they could be. Grumble Grumble Kristen Stewart Grumble Grumble…

Stay “frosty” everybody – - geez. These books are wonderful diversions from an otherwise dismal world. Their global appeal is testament to their ability to make use remember what “first love” felt like – - what “first heartbreak” felt like. We’re not talking Tolstoy, we’re talking a simple, sweet love story. Thank you Bill Condon for your enthusiasm and your talent.

I love the books and I love the movies. Yes, of course…the books are better. You only have so much time to put into the movie and working out the scripts etc. I honestly do love all the books and movies and am very excited to see Eclipse and the Breaking Dawn!

  • nikki

yes finally i know the date 2 breaking dawn i have been waiting 4 this 1 4 a long time! yay i am soooooo exited! go team edward!

  • Pistol

When am I getting the next Twilight EW cover. Okay I get that people are tired of them but what about us fans that want an Eclipse one?

Love the Books more than the movies, but the movies are a bonus! I really hope in this last 2 movies the director stays with the book. Who cares if it is disturbing, I think that was what Stephanie was going for. People dont just birth vampires, and I think she wanted us to know what a struggle it was for Bella to have this baby. Love Breaking Dawn it was my favorite book by far!!!!

I have to say I like the books alot more than the movies The Edward I had made up was much better looking but for the movies they left way to much out of the book for the movie Twilight was okay the movie was boring but the book was boring too new moon the book was great but the movie bombed they didnt show enough of bella and jacob getting attached to make it more realistic eclipse was better than the 2 before but it didnt follow the book as well as it should and i cant wait for breaking dawn to see if they leave alot out of it as well… I think sm should put the books together again in the eyes of different perspectives like midnight sun was threw edwards eyes what about threw alice jasper emmett or rosalies eyes or how about a whole new series for jacob and renesme???

I read all of the comments and they used for venting hate and arguing who liked it and did not. Personalty I really liked the books they bring back what it felt to fall in love. It is a overly dramatized love that most women would like to have but does not usually exist. I would have to say I do like the books more. It is hard to make the movies as good as the books. Too much depth and events to go into but they do serve as a guide to the books. I wish that there would have been an other book to tell the story of Renesme and Jacob.
