Ironman 2 opened here in Mexico April 30, we have already seen in 2x, it is incredible. I wonder what the box office numbers were here this weekend.
I just saw Nightmare and honestly I really liked it. Its not the original, but it was a very good remake (unlike the horrible Zombie Halloween)
The new nightmare was complete trash. Englund please come back and show Haley how it’s done.
What is the appeal of slasher flicks? They are disgusting and should be rated NC-17.

iron man 2 i mean…5uckd bigtime!!
prepare for prince of persia. I saw kick ass and I liked it. also saw 500 days of summer and I wonder why wasn’t nominated for best picture
Iron Man-Blockbuster trash
Also KICK ASS is miles better than iron man 2, it’s funnier, theres better action {brilliant action in fact} and lots more of it whereas there are rougthly three action sequences in the whole of iron man 2 and they really vary in terms of quality, especialy the dissapointing showdown were they barely use mickey rourke’s brilliant but wasted bad guy. On top of that the paceing in kick ass is better, there are no long slow moments like in iron man 2 where it sort of seems to forget to be a superhero film, and yes hit girl just steals it. Iron man 2 is just a lesser film than kick ass any way you cut it so dont bother. Iron man 2 is good though.
KICK ASS
When this reviewer says this movie is kick ass, it’s not because of it’s title; the movie just happens to be super cool and KICK ASS! You probably always thought of wannabe super heroes as a waste of time but this movie which is entirely about the same is certainly not a waste of time. Moral scolds might call it terribly bad but this film is nothing but thoroughly entertaining. Despite it being a ‘comic tale’, it maintains an intelligent modern riff.
Kick ass appears as just an outrageous film with a ‘super bad’ quotient to it but a lot of substance lies within and surprisingly, through the humour and excitement is an actual story- could be romance, stupidity or slight pornography but that’s open to your interpretation .
A fellow reviewer calls it, “An irreverent send up of comic book movies that’s hilarious.” I say the same and add on that Matthew Vaughn has achieved my recognition through his R- Rated film that truly is Kick Ass and a must watch for it’s intended audience.

HOT TUB MACHINE
As amusingly ridiculous as advertised, this amiable time-waster is about a group of best oaks who are equally bored with their adult lives due to reasons ranging from alcoholism to controlling spouses. After a night of heavy intoxication, the four men somehow travel back in time and the rest is for your viewing.
Hot tub is a vulgar filled 89 minutes of rowdy, coarse un-deniable fun. The raunchy silly film gets entangled in its own plot and weaves a mighty web through its likeable actors and original script.
The title however is too bland and comes in as runner up after ‘snakes on a plane’. The language could also be less vulgar but it is R-Rated just as most recent releases, so this unique blend of clever and bizarre can be excused.
Summary- sex, vulgarity, drugs and rock `n` roll was the culture in 1986.

well i have to agree with celia i cannot wait for SATC2 to come out and it should get name recognition for it and i too do not appreciate or even waste my time on movies with 12yrold girls killing and dropping f-bombs but hey michael myers did it why cant she ? and for avatar to get name recognition is just plain stupid it was pretty stupid and mediocre there are better movies in all of film history that deserve better name recognition than a movie about blue aliens it was VEEEERY stupid and mediocre like i already said and anyone who wants to crack on katie cassidy be my guest because plain and simple she has no acting or talent skills whatsoever! yeah her dad is david cassidy …. yeah about that … the genes werent exactly passed down from parent to offspring … but above all i LOVED nightmare on elm street … new and original
A bunch of haggered old chicks with more money than you running round new york and screeching horribly, getting laid, being shallow and deeply unlikable, rubbing their fantasy lifestyles (that you want but will NEVER have) in your face, im sorry but women have really strange, terrible taste in films sometimes. Give me films about giant blue aliens and swearing, killer ninja 12 year olds anyday of the week, get a f**king imagination.
