Wow. I really believe that A LOT of people on here have some serious issues. And, by the way, there will probably be at least TEN MORE Twilight-related covers of EW so deal with it. If you don’t like it, don’t read about it! We don’t go around bashing your Star Trek or Star Wars fettishes, do we?

Wow, people really get mean-spirited on here.
It just sounded like good natured bantering with each other. It came off as playful teasing, not like she was picking on him. They’re obviously very comfortable with each other. Don’t see anything wrong with that.

She looked better in “Adventureland”…… but Id still do her I think…

Yes, “Twilight” is a worldwide phenomenon. But really, ELEVEN pages (and counting) of “debate” on whether Stewart is always “mean” to her (fake?) boyfriend? And that people who aren’t charmed by one, two or any of the stars are only “stupid” and “haters” and “hags”?!? By even “lighten up, it’s only a movie” standards, that’s pretty pathetic. Why not use the space to explain to non-fans just WHY you love the franchise? Or WHY you think Kristen Stewart is a good actress? Stop perpetuating the stereotypes about “Twilight” fans! Sure EW could’ve done better with this cover “story,” but c’mon! Then again, maybe the problem isn’t with the commenters, or EW’s editorial decisions. Maybe the interview subjects themselves are the problem. Lautner gets a pass because he’s still young and relatively new (though I saw him on “Regis” and he handled himself like an old pro!), and the RAINN/Rain thing was cute. But Stewart, even at 20, has already been in the industry for a decade, and Pattinson is a full-fledged adult MAN. Maybe if they were allowed to — or chose to — build more real-world experiences outside “Twilight,” or themselves, they’d have more interesting things to say. With such a young fan base, couldn’t Pattinson think of anything more mature than a glorified “fart” joke? (yes, yes, he’s charming and bright, I’ve heard.) Sure, Stewart sometimes sounds like a badass (and she might be, though I doubt she’d last five minutes in the projects), but does she have to keep talking like a “motherf**king” truck driver? (No offense to truckers.) If you love “Twilight,” great. I can relate — I still get a thrill when I see C. Thomas “Ponyboy” Howell (ask your mom). And I’m sure the first commenter didn’t expect to cause a mini-war. But please, “Twilight” fans, stop wasting your time (and EW and stars, quit wasting everyone else’s time) on such nonsense! (And for the record, no I did NOT read 11 pages of it! But yes, I’ve learned my lesson about even glancing at the first page about anything related to this franchise.)

I’m a casual Twilight fan, which means I don’t have a lot of personal investment in the characters these actors portray. I understand the scrutiny put upon Stewart by Twihards and the need to feel protective over Pattinson or Lautner as they play guys who’ve commanded so much of their imagination, but I don’t think Stewart deserves the vitriol that’s been aimed at her. She’s sarcastic, which doesn’t read well, and she’s not as charming in interviews as Pattinson or Lautner. She’s awkward and comes across as abrasive, which are the same adjectives used to describe Angelina Jolie at the same age. Some are born with natural charisma, some need to figure out how to navigate their public persona. The fact remains that Stewart is a talented actress (have you seen the Cake-Eaters?) who happened the be lucky enough to fill Bella’s shoes. Besides, if anyone was familiar with the British sense of humor, you’d see that Pattinson is snarky right back.

Some comments here are based on jealousy and misunderstanding of K.Stew’s personality.Personally,I think she’s a great actress, but she’s not someone I aspire to.With that said,I’m not going to slam her for who she is or down play her acting skills because, let’s face it she is talented. Some people just don’t understand that she’s sarcastic and she’s not afraid to speak her mind. She has been out of line a few times, but she has apologised for it.Everyone screws up from time to time, she’s only human.Let the girl live and accept the fact that whether she’s really dating Rob or the whole relationship is a publicity stunt, she’s closer to him than anyone here…

  • Mia

I think that they’re great together! And she’s just teasing him,Gosh!

  • Laura

Yes, yes we got it, you all hate Kristen Stewart (bla bla bla ) because she has Robert Pattinson and you don’t. Who cares how SHE IS to HIM? That’s beetwin them, if HE OR SHE have a problem with it, THEY will solve it.
