Josh Hutcherson is a good actor and all and I was really looking forward to the Red Dawn reboot, but I’ve never really seen him as a Peter Parker type.

Of all the guys auditioning for the new Spiderman, Josh Hutcherson is the one I *least* want to see. Cast him, and I will simply skip the movies(s). Jamie Bell is too old, and looks it, to play him at the age they want to start, but would have been brilliant in the role. Anton Yelchin would be a great casting. Even Logan Lerman would be a great choice, and far better than Hutcherson.
Why not audition Hutcherson’s Vampire’s Apprentice co-star Chris Massoglia? A better looking and better casting choice.

Wow this casting news is taking a beating on the fanboards right now. So Sony if you’re reading better re-think this. he may be great in Kids are Alright but that movie is NOT Spiderman
most fan boards still want to see Logan Lerman, Bell or Yelchin in the role. They’re calling Hutcherson Spidermidget with a bobblehead and you know they’re right
I’ve loved this kid since Zathura so I wish it was him and not that 26 year old Brit guy. He would’ve been perfect.
