I love BD.
I’m all for a little boost to La economy, but it isn’t a tropical island! We should be used to these goofs by now. Did anyone notice the mountains when Jasper is attacked by Maria? He’s supposed to be near Galveston. I’m from Texas and let me assure you there aren’t any mountains anywhere near Galveston.
It does not matter where they film… The books will always be better…
My daughter is a splitten image of Dakota Fanning… I never relized this, until I was at the hospital, and a nurse asked me if she was Dakota Fannings sister… How ironic
These movies are of the same quality that a made for TV movie is. That’s not to say they aren’t entertaining, but Summit has not spent any real money on them. They are hardly in the same category as the Harry Potter series. Even Lord of the Rings was a bigger and more extravegant enterprise. Considering the general age of their audience I think they felt comfortable pocketing the money knowing the female audience was far more interested in the male actors than the actual movie set. The girls don’t care and Summit is making money hand over fist.
That’s because Twilight is more of a Romance than Sci-Fi (vampires and werewolves aside) It would pretty difficult to do a Harry Potter movie with Twilight’s budget unless you want to see strings and pictured backgrounds. Most (not all) people see twilight for the adventure and romance and does not necessarily need to be wowed by special effects and scenery. They have made plenty of money without those things, why would they change that now? A little selfish of them I know, but that’s showbiz.

I live in BR, LA and altho im excited that a part of movie will be filmed here i too wanted to see the movie filmed on an island. oh well…..
I really don’t care were they make it, I just can’t wait to see it!!!! The books rock and the movies are pretty good too!!! Love all the actors!!
Okay i live in baton rouge and it’s a beautiful place. We have gorgeous buildings if they do it inside, I’m assuming they will do the wedding here. And if they do things outside we have amazing scenery! So I am very excited for them to film here! Besides maybe I’ll get to see Taylor
Oh and btw louisiana is one of the top states to film in. That was in my history book last year. Hahahaa
Well I’m glad they doing it in l.a I live in sulphur yuh it can be boring if go to wrong places but a lot people just point that crubby parts out and doesn’t worry about the true lovelyness about it. And how u know they doing island in la that could be just 2 places they go to. And its not all swamps in l.a so I wish people would shut up about that.
