Summit Entertainment has announced the crew of young actors set to play the members of The Denali Coven in the upcoming Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn movies.
For the vegetarian family will be played by Christian Camargo (The Hurt Locker) in the role of Eleazar; Casey LaBow (Moonlight) as Kate, Mia Maestro (Alias) as Carmen, MyAnna Buring (Doomsday) as Tanya; and the previously announced Maggie Grace (Lost, Taken) as Irina.
The Hollywood Reporter first broke the news of the clan this afternoon. Production on the film is set to begin next month with the first of the two movies slated for release on November 18, 2011 and the second bowing on November 18, 2012.

Back when Rami Malek was announced, I remember someone made what I thought was a joke about EW having separate casting announcements for every D-list random vampire who shows up.

And the Denali clan is FAR from D-List. They are a central part of the final story.
I’m interested to see who’s playing whom, but I think the point is that far more major casting decisions (name actors and/or leading roles) are made for films that EW never reports on, yet relatively minor casting decisions in Twilight films get splashy coverage. I think that’s the exasperation.

I see nothing ever changes on the Twilight posts. The haterade is in full force and just continues and continues like a broken freaking record. Since I am one of the few that is not lost and likes to be positive instead of drowning in hate and misery, this is exciting news.
