Leonardo DiCaprio to tackle JFK assassination in 'Legacy of Secrecy'

Leonardo DiCaprio will produce and star in Legacy of Secrecy, based on the 2008 book by Lamar Waldron and Thom Hartmann that reexamined the assassination of President Kennedy. According to the actor’s publicist, DiCaprio would play Jack Van Laningham, an FBI informant who befriended Carlos Marcello, the southern Mafia kingpin who the book claims confessed to involvement in the 1963 murder of JFK. Warner Bros., which released Oliver Stone’s JFK in 1991, would like to release Legacy of Secrecy in 2013, the 50th anniversary of JFK’s death.

Dang Leo has a lot on his plate right now. Not that I’m complaining.

Enough already about tired JFK conspiracy theories. Sometimes, you have to let the past go. JFK Jr. said it best when he said: “My father is still dead.”

Leonardo DiCaprio is pretty much a joke at this point. He is such blatant Oscar-Begger that it’s pathetic.

lol I just watched the directors cut of JFK yesterday, I really don’t think you need to add more dialogue then the amount that was in that movie. Like, a whopping lot of dialogue that I fell asleep to. Add some action or something with aliens chasing down JFK and then have Transformers protect him with Jedi’s in it too and boo boo ga ga poo poo ca ca pee pee fart fart.

I think many comments does not know anything about 1979 HSCA gov report claiming that IT WAS A CONSPIRACY with more than one gunman or the THIRD 1998 (yesterday) report confirming CIA relation. I guess that people that fall asleep with JFK movie does simply do not understand how that affected everybody in the world TODAY. Wake up people, less Transformers and start taking care of your country.

The HSCA report concluded that Oswald killed JFK,but left open the probability that there was a conspiracy. It did not conclude that the CIA/U.S. intell was involved in the JFK assassination, only that they were involved in foreign plots. Nearly 50 yrs later, no eyewitnesses, no deathbed confessions. Time diminishes the possibility of a vast conspiracy.
