Even though filming is not yet complete on the final installments of the Twilight series, Taylor Lautner has set his sights on another young adult book adaptation. According to Deadline, the actor is set to star in — and possibly help produce — the movie version of Catherine Fisher’s Incarceron.
The sci-fi novel, released in 2007, centers around main character Finn, a young prisoner inside the futuristic prison Incarceron, and Claudia, the daughter of the warden who is trapped in a faux reality. The book’s sequel, Sapphique, is set to be released Dec. 28.
Adam Cooper and Bill Collage, whose joint credits include 2006’s Accepted and the upcoming Brett Ratner project Tower Heist, are set to write the screenplay.
