I’d love to see James Franco and James Marsden do a gay movie together!!!

I’ll buy my ticket right now!

Whether you is, or whether you isn’t, makes no difference to me. Love your stuff, think you’re hot, I’ll never have you anyway (sigh). ;-)

    Cool dude, great actor.

And now he’s totally gonna win the academt award. The Academy loves this liberating crap. ie: Sean Penn

    • Wottadoosh

      Cool. Great. Crap?
      Dude, what is your point?

  • Dear TMI

You are just plain dumb. Franco is very bright, witty, and gave a superb response to a stupid question. You didn’t get it.

  • Henry

Franco is awesome. He knows how to work the press and play the masses for the sheep that they behave like. Bravo. It’s nice to see talented and savvy again.

James is amazing!!!love him so much!!!

  • Nerd

What’s funny is the headline for this story misses James Franco’s point.

      So True@

He’s getting smarter with every role he takes and if it means playing yet another gay character then so be it. I love his creative recklessness. This is what puts in the same league as a Depp, a Penn or a Pitt.

  • Dee

James can’t define what he is because no one understands what it means to be attracted to a Japanese anime body pillow.

oh man i forgot all about that! amazing.

I loved this article, and I admire JF, but really, EW? That is the quote you use as the headline? Talk about using the gay talk to grab people’s attentions.

    • 101flyboy

Yeah, but this is what most media website are about. Sensationalism.

    • Breckster82

the casual, non-chalant tone of the quote should (but apparently not) lead one to believe that he’s being facetious. i never got that EW was trying to make it sound like JF was gay… who would seriously come out saying “you know what, maybe i’m just gay”

      • 101flyboy

Yeah, good point. Although I guess, if they wanted to make a real point, not highlight that one quote, highlight the entire article. This one quote is definitely an attention grabber quote, regardless of it being facetious or not. But I see your point.

Ryan Reynolds publicist to Ryan: “Do NOT do any interviews about your divorce. They’ll trap you. Let us do the heavy lifting and in no time we’ll have your fans believing that you and Sandy Bulloch are now an item. We’ve already got Entertainment Tonight, Extra and Access Hollywood running romance stories with you and Sandy getting close. Just lay low for awhile and we’ll weather the storm”.

a true performer is the one who takes on a variety of roles and doesn’t give the same performance each time.

  • Rod

a person’s sexuality is their own. who said just because you are an actor that the world is privy to all private aspects of your life. Keep ‘em guessing Franco. No one has to know anything you don’t want them to. It won’t take anything away from your talent.

  • roger

So what is saying he maybe gay one day and str8 the net day. what ever

    • 101flyboy

What he is saying is, that people are more than gay, straight, bisexual. That we are more than labels, but human beings. That his works surrounding gay themed movies aren’t because he’s gay or necessarily because the theme is gay, but because of the depth of the story itself.

Basically, stop focusing on a persons’ sexuality, and start focusing on who a person is, as a human being.

  • Robert Lee

So if gay actors play straight characters, they must be lying about being gay right? Seriously people move on. Gay or straight James is one fine actor!
