Josh Lucas is in negotiations to play Charles Lindbergh in Clint Eastwood’s J. Edgar Hoover biopic, a Warner Bros. spokesperson tells EW. Deadline initially reported that Lucas had landed the role of the 1920s American hero, but both Warner Bros. and Lucas’ rep clarify that no deal is yet in place. That said, with J. Edgar, starring Leonardo DiCaprio as the shady FBI chief, set to begin shooting Feb. 7, Lucas is well positioned to nab the part.

I’m surprised this guy isn’t a bigger star – I always liked him.
As much as I like Leo I just can’t picture him as J. Edgar Hoover. On the other hand I can buy Lucas as Lindbergh with out too much difficulty. Truth to tell Jon Hamm is arguably a dead ringer for Lindbergh.
I absolutely love josh lucas, I sincerely hope he gets the role ,he is a wonderful actor and handsome to boot!
Que7e buena ecereipnxia para Edgar! Ib4m sure it made an impact already, and I bet his little (but very smart!) brain is alreading integrating the whole experience into something very meaningful. So pape1 del futuro presidente o policeda, you must feel pretty proud of yourself con ese hijo tan lindo!
